Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles of her life early on through her imaginative and creative imagination. Before she learned to read or write Dolly Parton had already begun to compose her own music. Once she had her first guitar at the age 8, she started to perform on local radio stations from Knoxville in Tennessee. In the same year, she recorded her debut recording for Gold Band Records a tiny independent label. While still in highschool she established herself locally but dreamed about a larger stage. When she was graduating in 1964, she relocated to Nashville. The first charting record she had with Monument Records included Dumb Blonde and Something Fishy both in 1967. Porter Wagoner had been looking for a female vocalist to perform on his show syndicated by him in the years prior to this. Parton accepted the role in the year 1966. She was signed to RCA Records in 1968, and then the Grand Ole Opry was founded in 1969. However she left Wagoner's show in 1974 when her solo albums like Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene were out-charting their collaborations. Parton's hit song, I'll Never Be Loved by You (for Wagoner), reached the top of the. number 1 position after the duo separated. For the first time, in 1974.
