Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. The daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former executive in the banking industry and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, she is half-Spanish and female who is half English. The father of her is Argentine who is of Scottish and English descendance. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English origin. The Taylor-Joy family was the family of six children. Four siblings of Taylor-Joy are who were born from the same marriage as Taylor's father. They lived together living in Buenos Aires from the time she was just six until the time they moved to Victoria, London. According to Taylor-Joy's account, the relocated family was traumatized and was unable to master English in the hopes of moving back to Argentina. She had to switch schools to Northlands and then Hill House. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's plays. She dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order in order to pursue her acting career. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to become an actor. She was given a chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered a modelling job.
